Access is easy. You can come to Épinal by train, plane and of course, by car.

BY TRAIN

The direct High Speed Train - TGV Est Européen connects Épinal to Paris in just 2 hours 15 minutes.

Many local trains (TER) run daily to and from Nancy-Metz (allowing connections to the south of France or northern Europe). There are also connections to Strasbourg and to Belfort-Mulhouse-Basel.

 

BY PLANE

The following international airports are within 2 hours of Épinal: Basel-Mulhouse, Strasbourg and Luxembourg.

The Metz Nancy Lorraine airport is located 95 kilometres from the centre of Épinal and takes about 1 hour 15 minutes by car.

The airport Épinal Mirecourt is located 40 kilometres from Épinal and offers flights to Paris-Orly West.

BY CAR

Épinal is 70 kilometres from Nancy, 130 from Metz, 380 from Paris and 380 kilometres from Lyon.

BY BOAT

Our network of waterways connecting Burgundy to neighbouring countries allows a connection by river with Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Thanks to this privileged situation, our waterways are one of the last strongholds of traditional shipping and at the same time, a very popular route for recreational boats.

The charming town of Fontenoy-le-Château is the entrance to the south of the Vosges. Then you can go through the Voge, Lake Bouzey and leave the Vosges at Charmes / Socourt.
