Today, the Rotonde hosts many cultural and artistic events.
It was created in 1925 by Armand Lederlin and was first used as a social care institution and sharing room for the former textile factory next door, the BTT (Blanchisserie et Teinturerie Thaonnaise).

For the record, the 864-seat theatre is a replica of the famous Chatelet, only more modest, and the whole building, from the air, is shaped like the Cross of Lorraine!
