Today, the Rotonde hosts many cultural and artistic events.
It was created in 1925 by Armand Lederlin and was first used as a social care institution and sharing room for the former textile factory next door, the BTT (Blanchisserie et Teinturerie Thaonnaise).

For the record, the 864-seat theatre is a replica of the famous Chatelet, only more modest, and the whole building, from the air, is shaped like the Cross of Lorraine!
Today, it is used as the Cultural Pole of Southern Lorraine and hosts numerous events. The "Scènes Vosges" group offers an ambitious and very affordable cultural programme, based on French songs, circus, children's shows, theatre...
