Getting to the Planetarium & information

Would you like to visit the Planetarium? The Planetarium is opened to the public at the following times :

Shows for children :

  • On Wednesday at 2.15 p.m. (recommended for children over 5 years old)
  • During the school holidays in France on Wednesday at 4.30 p.m. (recommended for children over 8 years old)

Shows for adults and recommended for children over 12 years old

  • On Friday at 8.15 p.m.
  • On the second Sunday of each month at 4.30 p.m.
  • Additional shows are offered during all school holidays, on Tuesday and Thursday at 4.30 p.m.

 

Please, feel free to enquire about the contents of the workshops and events in advance. Times for the shows are available here and you can find what show will suit you.

The Planetarium in Épinal is located near the town centre and requires a 10-minute walk from the station. If you live in Épinal, you can take the bus number 2 towards its final stop “Planétarium la Belle Etoile”.

By car, Épinal is 50 kilometres from Nancy. Take the main road N57 to reach Épinal. Free parking is available on site.

The screening sessions last an hour and fifteen minutes, nearly as long as the time needed for the visits which include a video with commentaries and the exhibition. We remind you that the Planetarium is not suitable for children under 3 because of the sound level.

The doors open 30 minutes before the show starts so that as everybody has time to find their seat. The Planetarium strongly advise you to reserve your ticket in advance.
