L'incontournable musée d'Épinal
The museum has been located in the heart of Épinal since 1822. It offers its visitors a travel through time, from the prehistory to that of the art of 21st century, in an exhibition area of 4,000 square metres. It houses several works by major painters of the 17th and the 18th centuries.
You can admire in particular the famous painting Job raillé par sa femme by Georges de La Tour as well as Rembrandt’s Mater Dolorosa.
The Museum of Ancient and Contemporary Art is open every day except Tuesday and Sunday morning. Free for children under 12 years old.
