The History of Lorraine
Immerse yourself in medieval times while visiting the fortress of Châtel-sur-Moselle, then go and uncover the traditional fruit of Lorraine.

Step 1 : 10.00 a.m. – Visit the fortress in Châtel-sur-Moselle
Discover the beauty of this medieval fortress which was founded in the 11th century in a 5-hectare park. You can visit its three floors of galleries spread over a 2-kilometre plot and see its 57-metre wide moat overlooking the double enclosure.
Step 2 : 12.30 p.m. – Lunch in the fortress
Enjoy a meal in an original setting with an atypical view.
Step 3 : 3.00 p.m. – Visit the site - Maison de la Mirabelle in Rozelieures
The Mirabelle is the fruit from Lorraine and has been awarded several prizes at agriculture shows and it has won a gold medal. It is presented through a Sound & Light show along with a tasting of tarts and cocktails made of Mirabelle.

Step 2 : 12.30 p.m. – Lunch at an authentic farm inn
Located on the banks of the Canal des Vosges, you will enjoy meals made using products from the farm and its vegetable garden.
Step 3 : 3.00 p.m.– Visit the Manufacture Royale of Bains-les-Bains
The most beautiful industrial site of the 18th and 19th centuries in Lorraine.

Step 3 : 3.00 p.m. – Package - “Spa Liberté” at the spa in Bains-les-Bains
You can benefit from exclusive treatments and high pressure jets in the swimming pool, as well as in the kaolin bath. You can also gain access to the hydro massage beds or to the bath with essential oils as well as the relaxation pool, all in an impressive setting.

This 17th century building and its glass masters show you their blown glass skills through a unique demonstration.
Step 2 : 12.00 p.m. - Lunch at the Auberge des Thones
You can enjoy local products as well as a rustic cuisine baked in a wood-fired oven.
Step 3 : 2.00 p.m. – Visit the sweet maker - DélisVosges in Darney
In this factory which hand-makes sweets learn about the secrets of the history of the production of the "Bonbon des Vosges" before visiting the sweet shop.
Step 4 : 3.30 p.m. – Visit the distillery - Distillerie Riondé in Saint-Baslemont
Distillers from father-to-son since 1902, they offer artisanal copper utensils in their factory. Visits end in their shop.
