The Battant has been the witness to life in the town of Carpinian
Dating from 1850, it was first a fuller (a process in fabric making), than a beating, a bleaching site, a mechanical workshop, an electricity plant and finally a sawmill.You can see the various machines that make up the Battant. You will be carried back to the past and discover the life of the workers and the history of the town.
The Museum is open from March to November.
Entry fee: €2 per person and for groups of 20 or more. For groups of less than 20 people €3
