Die am Place Georgin wartende Lokomotive pfeift: Steigen Sie in unseren kleinen Zug und lassen Sie sich durch die Stadtmitte fahren. Das ganz neue Angebot erlaubt eine gemütliche Besichtigung der Stadt. Sie sitzen bequem, in einer Stunde wissen Sie mehr über die Geschichte und Architektur, in abgespielten Kommentaren werden Ihnen auch ein paar Anekdoten erzählt. Nach dieser Fahrt können Sie durch die Gassen schlendern und jeden kleinen Winkel erforschen.

Entdecken Sie die tausend Jahre alte Stadt Épinal, ihre Basilika, den Place des Vosges, die alten Mauern, ihr kanonisches Viertel, aber auch das in einem Turm angesiedelte Museum mit einem interessanten maßstabgetreuen Modell der Stadt im Mittelalter. Zum Abschluß erklimmen Sie die 72 Stufen des chinesischen Turms und genießen Sie den Panoramablick.

Die Überreste des alten mittelalterlichen Schlosses liegen praktisch über der Stadt und sind als "Monument Historique" eingestuft. Von hier aus haben Sie einen ganz anderen Blick auf die Stadt. Und von hier aus haben Sie Zugang zu dem sich seit 2003 in einem Turm in der Altstadt befindlichen Musée du Chapitre. Auf drei Stockwerken können sie hier die Geschichte der Stadt Épinal ausführlich besehen.

Dating from 1850, it was first a fuller (a process in fabric making), than a beating, a bleaching site, a mechanical workshop, an electricity plant and finally a sawmill.You can see the various machines that make up the Battant. You will be carried back to the past and discover the life of the workers and the history of the town.

The Museum is open from March to November. For individuals, the price is 3 €.

The Heritage Museum in Thaon-les-Vosges opened in January 2015 and the Heritage Association uses it to house its treasures. It invites you to discover the history of the town, Thaon les Vosges, with exhibitions on the bearded lady, the Bernadette sisters, the textile era and many other historical aspects that have marked the town. It showcases many photos, period pieces and archives. The Temple, the Rotunda, the Oratory and the Chapel can be visited upon request.

The museum is opened all year upon request.

The company "La Fouillotte" was created in June 2016 after three friends from Lorraine turned their passion into their job.
Recipes rich in flavours are made with microbrewery equipment. Medium-density fibreboard is cut by laser to produce objects which are designed and produced on site. Coasters, boxes and other decorative items are made at the brewery. La Fouillotte brewery is open to visitors all year round, Saturdays only.
